The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9, a 57-inch ultra-wide curved gaming monitor, is on sale for $1,499.99, down from its $2,499.99launch price. This marks the monitor's second-best discount according to price-checking tools.
The monitor launched in 2023 with a 7,680 by 2,160 4K native resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, a 1,000-nit brightness level, and a VA panel. PCMag gave it an "excellent" review, citing its color range and accuracy alongside its design.
Using the full 240Hz refresh rate requires a DisplayPort 2.1 connection. Without it, the monitor is limited to 120Hz. You will also need a powerful modern graphics card capable of pushing frames at native resolution.
The monitor works best for competitive gamers with high-end computers and plenty of desk space. For casual gamers or those without a powerful setup, an Asus gaming monitor is on sale for $329.99, down from $499.
