Eufy's SoloCam E30 two-pack costs $189.99 at Amazon, down from $249.99. That equals roughly $95 per camera with no monthly subscription fees for viewing or storing footage.
Each camera is IP65-rated for outdoor use, pans 360 degrees, and tilts 70 degrees. Built-in batteries last around three months between charges, though frequent motion alerts can shorten that. Two hours of direct sunlight daily keeps batteries topped up, or you can connect to wired power (cables sold separately) for continuous recording.
The cameras record in 2K with infrared night vision. They lack a built-in spotlight for color night vision. Footage stores locally on a microSD card up to 128GB or through compatible Eufy HomeBase models (sold separately). The HomeBase S380 offers advanced AI and terabyte-scale storage. The HomeBase S280 supports up to 16 cameras.
One limitation: the E30 connects only to 2.4GHz wifi and works with Alexa and Google Assistant but not Apple HomeKit.
