Chase is running a limited-time promotion that lets credit cardholders earn 10x points when paying with Paze at participating merchants through December 31.
Paze is a payment service that connects directly to your bank account rather than using a credit card. When you link your Chase card to Paze and use it at eligible retailers, you accumulate points at the elevated rate instead of your card's standard earning level.
The offer applies to most Chase credit cards, including the Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Freedom Unlimited, and Chase Freedom Flex. United cardholders get in on the promotion too, earning bonus points through the same method.
The catch: only purchases made directly through the Paze payment method qualify. Using your physical card or regular online checkout won't trigger the bonus. You also need both a compatible Chase card and a Paze account to participate.
For frequent shoppers, the numbers add up quickly. Someone spending $1,000 at eligible merchants earns 10,000 points instead of the card's typical 1x or 2x rate. That's worth roughly $100 to $150 in travel or cash value depending on your card and redemption method.
The promotion runs through December 31, so timing matters. If you spend regularly at participating stores, activating Paze now could deliver substantial rewards before the offer expires. Chase hasn't announced which retailers accept Paze payments, so check the Paze app or Chase's website for the current merchant list in your area.
This offer rewards users who are willing to change their checkout behavior and add another payment app to their wallet. For Chase cardholders already tracking rewards carefully, activating Paze before year-end could be a quick way to boost point balances before the bonus window closes.
